Best Weekend Ever :)

This weekend was seriously the most fun I have had in  a long time. My family (all eight children!) and two of my friends from school took a trip to Webster’s Falls / Spencer Gorge in Flamborough, Ontario. This happens to be one of my favorite places in the whole world, right now! All of us, minus my mother, Jessi, Leesha and Kelli (my father was working), went down the stone stairs that lead to the base of the falls. In the water immediately in front of the falls, there are large boulders and rocks in the water that make getting to the ledge behind the falls into QUITE a challenge! We must have been quite a sight, six girls in long sleeves and long skirts attempting to climb behind the water fall. We actually managed to walk behind the falls twice! Climbing this time was very difficult (way more so than the times that my family has done this previously). The current was unusually strong and I fell into the water several times (no one else fell in; luckily for them, I was leading the group for part of the time!). On the climb back from the falls, we actually had to form a human chain to pass several of the smaller girls (Noa, Miranda and Rebekkah) to Justin on the dry(-er) land near the base of the stairs.

I realize that I am going on and on about this, but it was really the most fun that I have had all summer (if you don’t understand, go visit Webster’s Falls, than you will, LOL  )
